Escape!

That's a picture of my building. Im on the 34th floor and my office has a view that looks down to where I'm standing. Nothing that great or interesting about this building or the view to be honest.

Thing is, I never see my building from this viewpoint because I never, ever, ever leave my office at any stage for a break or fresh air. Chained to my desk I am.

That changed today and I threw caution to the wind and escaped. It was only for half an hour and, apart from the fact is was bum numbingly cold out, it was so good to get some fresh air (cold fresh air), see what's about (some slightly unimpressive ice sculpting) and get something different for lunch (veg stew and dumplings).

Need to do it more!
