Mae'r wersyllfa Bumdrak ar uchder o 3,800m. Roedd e'n oer yn y bore ar ôl noson ddigwsg.  Roedd y criw wedi adeiladu tân arall a gwnaeth e helpu ni i gynhesu. Cawson ni brecwast da iawn ac roedden rhydd am y diwrnod.

Dewisodd rhai o bobl i ddringo i fyny i'r lhakhang uwchben y wersyllfa neu hyd yn oed ymhellach i'r safle claddu awyr. Dewison ni aros i lawr oherwydd y roedden ni'n teimlo'r uchder yn barod.

Gwnaeth Nor'dzin a fi yn mynd i fyny i grib ger y safle ac yn eistedd i ymarfer am awr. Roedd rhaid i mi fod yn ofalus oherwydd y roeddwn i gwympo i gysgu ac mewn perygl cwympo i lawr y mynydd. Roedden ni gwerthfawrogi'r olygfa a'r blodau bach glas oedd tyfu o gwmpas y lle. Roedd diddordeb gyda ni yn y fuwch unig oedd crwydro o gwmpas y safle.  Gwnaeth e fwyta'r sbarion llysiau a roddwyd gan griw'r safle.

Roedd y tywydd yn braf yn ystod y dydd ond ar ôl machlud haul gwnaeth y tymheredd yn disgyn.  Ar amser cinio roedden ni'n gwisgo ein dillad i gyd, eisteddon o gwmpas y tân, bwyton fwyd poeth, ond roedden ni'n dal yn oer. Aeth yr oerfel yn syth i'n hesgyrn ac roedden ni'n  hapus iawn i gropian i'n bagiau cysgu.

The Bumdrak campsite is at an altitude of 3,800m. It was cold in the morning after a sleepless night. The crew built another fire and it helped us warm up. We had a very good breakfast and were free for the day.

Some people chose to climb up to the lhakhang above the campsite or even further to the sky burial site. We chose to stay down because we already felt the altitude.

Nor'dzin and I went up to a ridge near the site and sat to practice for an hour. I had to be careful because I was falling asleep and in danger of falling down the mountain. We appreciated the view and the little blue flowers growing around the place. We were interested in the lone cow that wandered around the site. It ate the vegetable scraps donated by the site crew.

The weather was fine during the day but after sunset the temperature dropped. At dinner time we wore all our clothes, sat around the fire, ate hot food, but we were still cold. The cold went straight to our bones and we were very happy to crawl into our sleeping bags.
