Back to the Pacific Northwest!

We left our Lisbon hotel at 3 am this morning, flew to Paris and then a long flight to Seattle followed by a very quick flight to Portland. As much fun as the trip to Portugal was, it’s always great to be home.

We flew over Mt. St. Helens, which you might remember is an active volcano. It had a major and deadly eruption on May 18, 1980. I’ve been to the volcano but had never flown over it. The crater is rather impressive to say the least!
