mother's lap
new moon day without yoga practice: carrying my books from the bed to breakfast and then to the pool, to my sanskritt class and further on to my masala dosa date, trying to move into the world of sound, bravery and good values, getting some distance to all these things I don't understand. My nose into my book with devanagari script while getting a manicure, I notice the little girl in the chair next to me jumping around in her mother's lap. She puts her hands on my chair, but when I look at her, she is hiding. Even if she's moving most of the time, she seems to rest in herself somehow.
