Voyage of Discovery

In 1542 on these very shores, Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo stepped out of his boat and into history. He was the first European to set foot on now what is the West Coast of The United States. It was just 50 years after Christopher Columbus first landed in the Americas.

On one of our last remaining days with a vehicle, WE spent time joyously exploring Cabrillo’s story and other adventures in history & nature... a drive close to our home that we’d not been able to facilitate for a decade without proper transportation. Grateful.
