Tiny beginnings

This is about attempt 7 to get the beginning of a knitted baby shawl.
3 ply with 8 stitches on 4 double pointed needles*. Nightmare is not a big enough concept!


* all of that means tiny stitches on slippy needles that can fall off either end when you are dealing with another two needles. All beside each other on one needle, they come in at less than an inch.

Extra pictures show the one that got to round 6. Then bits fell off and I had to start again, again.
