Of Monsters and men

A trip done to Glasgow and Edinburgh for a few days.
A very frosty, foggy start with the Haar hanging over the Firth.The sun peeped above making it look very eerie.
A good journey down and straight to an Italian for dinner. A sunny Glasgow was a welcome sight.We walked down to Jury’s Inn where we are staying. Sad to see the bridge had been closed as there was a jumper on the bridge.Luckily the police managed to talk him down but it meant three fire eingines, a response Unit, Ambulance, three coast guard boats and two police motorcyclists at least all involved.
We went for a walk along the river when everything calmed down. Enjoyed a nice free latte in the lounge and then had a rest before going out to the O2 Academy to see Of Monsters and Men. An excellent gig with all the members of the band dressed up, it is Halloween of course :))
