Storm Amélie approaching

The first named storm of the autumn is approaching. Storm Amélie is due to batter the Atlantic coastline overnight. It was already rather gusty in Soulac-sur-Mer this morning and the skies looked rather threatening.
I haven't altered this photo, - it really was quite dark at around 11 a.m.

As I type this, it is now raining rather heavily. Time to 'batten down the hatches', and read a good book!
