Pumpkin Family

This photo is notable for being the first still life I've done with my new LED panel. I normally just use natural light. It's the blue light setting at 50% but the oranges are still orange. Hooray!

Even though it has barn doors, it isn't really possible to direct the light as you might with a speedlight with a snoot or a lightbox with a grid. But that blue! Isn't it electric?

As I write the rain has moved away and there's even fluffy clouds in a blue sky.

In one hour, I shall pick up Colin from the garage on the corner and we shall drive to Leicester where I shall be singing in the Fauré Requiem at St Anne's.

And I did watch the rugby this morning. A shame for England but the Springboks were superb.
