Autumn Colour

The leaves are being blown off the trees with the huge gusts of wind that are blustering about.  I found these in a small puddle from all the rain that is falling.
A really wet, windy and miserable day - more so because of the rather boring end to the World Cup Tournament.  Sad to see England thwarted in their bid for a second title, but South Africa managed to make it three wins for them since their first in 1995. The Boks were just too powerful for England today.
After the game Eloise and I went walkabout - just to see what the shops have already got in for the festive season, and have a change of scene.  E is going to cook for me tonight - what a treat - she is enjoying her cookery at school and keen to show off her newly acquired skills.
