Wide Angle Restaurant

Decided after busy day to eat out and try F’s new restaurant - he owns the bakery that has supplied us with many of our pastries over the years. Le Piaf - apparently a reference to a French TV show about a little yellow bird. Food is a fusion of French and Mediterranean - I was enjoying some Hummus with lamb and that ‘thing’ in the middle is a Cauliflower that has been browned and doused with yoghurt, tahini and dill. Washed down with a Lebanese wine - and we shared the lamb shank for the main course. Called my dad in Australia afterwards - tomorrow the Rugby World Cup final.
