Soaked

Timed the walk badly - got absolutely soaked. Even Jaffa hated it - at one point she seemed quite spooked by the ferocity of the rain hammering down.

Watched the rugby at my friends place. Me and 24 people who had suddenly discovered South African heritage. Anyone But England. Sigh. But the better side won. England seemed very nervous and never really recovered from a terrible first 20 minutes. This week’s events have put it into perspective. Just a game.
