... indeed formerly the very Grand Hotel Harrogate.

This splendid building overlooking the Valley Gardens and visible from many parts of the town, was opened in 1902 as one of the two largest hotels in the thriving spa.

It boasted 250 rooms, 50 private suites and a garage for 100 cars.

It is no longer a hotel but still a very imposing block of offices. Several more modern office blocks occupy what used to be the hotel grounds.
