Firebird Tutu and Don Carlos Costume

An afternoon trip to Covent Garden to see the Royal Ballet's Triple Bill.  Three very different ballets and the contrast was very enjoyable.

The Foyers have a number of costumes.  The first is Dame Margot Fonteyn's tutu for the Firebird when she performed it in 1954.  The second is the very fine costumer for Elizabeth de Valois in the opera Don Carlos. Quite different!
