The view to the west

This is the view from Mum's house looking west.  It fronts onto bushland and looks over the Lane Cove river.    You do get to see the sunsets with that aspect but in hot Summers, having a lot of the house facing west is not a good idea.

We have been getting some good sunsets with the smoke around.  Smoke from numerous fires burning.
