Interislander

One of those bucket list places - I can't find the words to describe this journey. The sea was calm, the sun warm and as we sailed into Picton it was getting on towards 19:00 so the light was improving. 

My blip is the 'dog-leg' the ferry goes through half way along Queen Charlotte Sound - it looks very narrow until approaching Picton Harbour when the ferry going toward Wellington passes by and two large ships now look quite small.  Lots more to process and add to the Flikr folder when time allows!
