Neglected but not unloved

The day started bright and sunny. A great change from yesterday and fortunately the high winds had ceased. But not before they revealed some damage. A long length of garden fencing had been blown down and was being propped up by trees .

I had a brief walk around the garden but was overtaken by fatigue and back pain. If only my body would listen to my mind.

I decided to take a blip in the rusty metal corner. An abandoned guitar is leaning against a cast iron fireplace. The fireplace is intact and sturdy but the guitar is slowly falling apart.
