It was worth getting up early this morning to catch autumn reflections at Tarn Hows.  Weather not too bad, just a few showers.  Stopped off on the way back to the lodge afterwards and walked along a track as you do, just to see where it went.... One of Misty in extras.  After lunch went into Hawkshead to buy some bits of food which I'd forgotten to bring with me.  Had to pay for two hours parking for the privilege.  So thought I might as well have a wander with Misty around the village.  Its been at least 40 years, gulp! since I was last there.   I thought it was just a tiny village back then.  But its not!  I also knew nothing about the history of it back then either.
