Lunch in Cambridge

It was a wonderful sunny morning after the foul weather yesterday, and the woods were full of walkers when we  took Xena for a walk after breakfast.

Once Adam and Jenni had eaten breakfast we left to go to Cambridge to see Thomas, as we were all meeting for lunch. It was raining in Cambridge! We had booked at a dog friendly pub, and it worked well with Xena, and the  food was not bad either. Jenni had to dash off to do some tutoring, and we dropped Thomas back at his college. This photo was taken after lunch outside the pub. 

Annoyingly we got back to a parking fine on the car - the parking meter was broken so I am not sure how that works in this case. Actually parking is so expensive in Cambridge the fine is probably cheaper than the cost of parking would have been!!

It was a lovely day catching up with Thomas, and it has been a very good weekend at home with Adam and Jenni. And now the new week is about to begin...
