One of my favorite gravestones in our town cemetery. The Hanover Historical Society erected Joseph Washington's stone. I walk often in the cemetery among the stones of so many old friends and relatives. T and I walked together today after we put away all the summer things from the garden and back patio. They are safe and sound for the winter, tucked in the barn.

The old front piazza is still set up, but soon that will have to be secured for the winter. I expect that will happen this week since we could have snow flurries on Friday according to the long range forecast.

This day came in sunny and warmed up nicely.
