Blue sky birding

A busy day for me today. A few jobs to do at home before we set off tomorrow for a few days' break in Sherwood forest. The Goldfinches are still around, although numbers seem to have reduced slightly. We had a visit from a Sparrowhawk today who had a successful capture, but I didn't see it until it had finished its breakfast when it promptly disappeared.
