Muddy

Rain had stopped after a dreadful day yesterday so we decided to get out for a walk especially given P decided not to come for lunch - his hearing's deteriorated again unfortunately. Hope we can get him to go for an appointment with the audiologist again.
We went up to Irchester country park and Mx started the day complaining loudly about putting his coat on ("no like it!!") then saw the puddles and ran to splash through them all (extra), before inevitably slipping on the mud and ending up covered in it!
We enjoyed discovering dinosaur eggs and fallen trees and then playing in the adventure park before heading back to MK for a pub lunch in the city centre where T joined us. OK food and the kids had lots of crayons and games to keep them busy. Talked about T&Kt's Borneo trip next spring and plans for palace visit then T dropped me at the station and I had a more straightforward trip home. Got some work done before falling asleep for a while. Disappointed to get home and see there's still work to be done so the kitchen still full of the painter's stuff - no motivation to do any unpacking so made a cup off tea and headed to bed.
