In the Heat of the Day

Sure was a lovely warm day in Akaroa. When we left around 1:30pm it was 34c. Too hot to do anything much.

When we arrived in Christchurch it seemed much cooler than Akaroa. On the news they said it reached 32c in the city.

The garden in Akaroa was so over grown with weeds and the lawn was really long. John had to mow it twice. Just as well we went over as my pot plants on the deck area would have died in this heat.
