Puddle Jumping

We've been going on walks this week while the weather is warm. Last night it rained quite a bit leaving monstrous puddles. Some are up 4" deep. Such puddles are irresistible to 2 year olds.

She was soaked. Might as well have gone swimming in her winter gear. Nothing a washer and dryer can't fix and I certainly was not going stomp on her innocent joy over a load of laundry.

It's now apparent that we need to invest in some rain boots. Maybe a pair for mommy as well so she can join all the fun next time.
