Inner Beauty....

This beautiful flag iris was given to me by a gardener friend. It is called “Sultan’s Palace” and its name suits the rich, exotic colouring.
Today is Marlborough Anniversary Day. It is a day when many businesses and services are closed. Consequently I took a friend’s advice and spent the morning up at the Afterhours GP Clinic in the Wairau Hospital grounds waiting to be seen. The waiting room was full and all the staff busy. However I am now on an antibiotic for my chest infection which was not getting any better. It is a relief to have been seen and advised.
