A GOOD DAY IN THE OFFICE....

... as they say!

Being a superb morning thought I would check out a spot had been wanting to see for awhile, Scheyville National Reserve near Windsor here.

Well, it was quite special in a number of ways - mainly the size and layout of tracks allowed a good look through. 

Initially it was a bit quiet with birds, but as I got deeper in it all unfolded! First this Whistling Kite came soaring over, and then it was on.

A number of "first timers" for me so pleased about that.

Check a few out starting here with a Rufous Whistler male, and a few others if you have time.
