Poor Old Mothercare

We were going home from hospital where baby Neil had been born 10 days before....yes that's how long we were kept in hospital in those days. We drove past a Mothercare in Edmonton, North London. I insisted we stopped so I could buy an extra blanket, which we probably didn't need. Here it is, with its label to prove its origin. One of a few baby treasures I have kept.

Sad to hear that Mothercare is going out of business. It was where all new mums went to buy everything. But money wise parents are finding bargains in the cheaper shops and on line.
