Linac

My first day at the UMCG radiotherapy department today. A very interesting and informative day. This is one of the linear accelerators (linac) of the facility. This one is in fact no longer in use so it was easy to take a look at the technical installation behind the table where the patient would be located.

I’ve got a whole two week introduction programme laid out for me. Intense but very interesting I think.
