Not A Bad View

It was the 'official' celebratory meal for John & Sarah's 40th wedding aniversary and the venue was a local golf club. This is the view we had.
The company was good, the food was wonderful (and huge servings) and Sarah had made masses of cakes of different kinds rather than have traditional deserts.

After the shindig we headed back to the hotel to freshen up and get changed.
It was then off to a local Indian for a meal. We hadn't realised that it was an exclusive invitation with just John & Sarah, their kids, her mother (a fantastic character full of fun and a mere strip of at lass at 'touching' 96), the groom and his wife from the wedding (who were workmates with John and I) …… and us.
How we were able to move after the meal is beyond me.
