Day 1

The best part of the day may have been watching George’s reaction - he was a little shy stray that turned up at my parents’ house as a kitty years ago. My dad worked for weeks to earn his trust and he’s been there ever since.  My mom used to say he was “just an old shoe” because he was so laid back, making his “this is my house” attitude a complete surprise.  The extra pic is George’s first reaction to the puppy. After that he shadowed him wherever he went, but always moving in an exaggerated slow motion walk that I’m guessing was pure outrage.
