Christmas day was filled with excitement; but came at a price. My 8 year old nephew was far too excited to sleep after his chat with Santa; and spent a restless night waking up at 4am. He was fairly certain that he heard Santa during the night. At 7am; the boys were allowed downstairs, with adults in tow to see if Santa had come during the night and delivered any gifts - it turns out that my nephew was right, he had heard Santa! We were all spoilt. After gifts, we had breakfast before heading off to Church. My sister-in-law did an amazing Christmas lunch with all of the trimmings (and enough left overs to last the rest of the week). Mid-afternoon; some more presents were found; and what do you know .... they were the biggies! The two older boys got Razer Scooters and the 3 year old got a remote control Roary the Race car (for which he promptly went looking for batteries for his dad to put in). Next step, outdoors to test out the scooters. While the boys whizzed up and down, shooting sparks I took this photo.
