Norway

This is the view as we were just coming in to Oslo this morning. The weather was perfect with crystal clear sky and snow on the ground.

Unfortunately, by the time we had flown another 2 hours north to Tromso, inside the Arctic Circle, it was raining, windy, cloudy, treacherously icy/slushy underfoot and generally miserable. Unfortunately the weather forecast is the same for our entire stay here so I'm not sure what we are going to do with ourselves as its really difficult walking anywhere. It also looks as if the chances of seeing the Aurora are extremely slim :-(

Fortunately, the hotel is nice and it would have a cracking view over the harbour and mountains if the weather was better.
