A white quartz geode

I opened an 'old' drawer on the off chance of finding a suitable subject for today's Tiny Tuesday challenge – 'something 'old''.

I thought this crystal, which I must have bought some time ago, would be appropriate. It is certainly old, and it is only about an inch in diameter. I took it downstairs so as to use the natural light through the patio doors, and changed to my macro lens. I didn't feel like going out to the cabin to get my tripod, so had to try hand holding, which wasn't wholly successful. There is a bit of blur, as I couldn't use a faster shutter speed, so all in all it isn't ideal for a 'Tiny' subject. But I like it.
