Bus Pass Walk

The day didn’t start off too well as it was windy and drizzling.  Not too bad though by the time we got to the top of the next village.  The walk took us across Hewenden Viaduct, and the autumn colours seen from the parapet were lovely.  Tried the cafe in the Village Hall another village along - lovely food and welcoming staff.  They also make a wonderful strong latte (other strengths are available to order!).  I’m sure we will be back there.  Fortified, we decided not to wait for a bus, and we walked back to our own village seeing more lovely autumn colours on the way.  I then went off on another bus trip to do some shopping, so have done a fair number of steps today!
