Tiny Tuesday, 
Something Old.
This is my Dad's Royal Corps of Signals badge which is among some bits of jewellery and old watches in a box he gave me years ago. I thought I might find a pretty old brooch or something to photograph for tiny Tuesday but when I saw this I knew it fitted the brief. It's not exactly tiny but quite small and has been on some adventures. It dates from WW2 and so undoubtedly was worn at the Battle of El Alamein and it also landed in Italy. I can't remember exactly which years all these things happened and he is no longer here to ask.
The little figure on the insignia is Mercury the winged messenger of the Gods.
