Rowden Cross

We spent a lot of the day sweeping up leaves, filled a wheelie bin with them! Good job done but I imagine there'll be a load more to be swept up in a weeks time.

I went out to Castle Dyke fairly late this afternoon. There are some very old beeches there and I wondered whether they might provide some colour. On my way back, the light to the east was looking quite spectacular. I stopped at Rowden Cross which is always a good viewpoint. I've added an image from Castle Dyke as an extra.
