Raining Again

I was soaked just walking to the bus stop this morning – the road down the hill had turned into a river.  By the time I got to work, I really just wanted to go home and get dry.  However, I stood by a heater for a while till I dried out and my feet warmed up.  It was then just another day at the office.  Another new boss started today.  I was counting up the number of people who have been in the role in the past 30 months, and she is the sixth incumbent. 

As it seemed to have rained all day, I met TT and got the train home with him, as I couldn’t face getting soaked again.  However, my lack of steps meant I had to pop out for a few steps this evening.  It was still drizzling and the wind has got up.

This label in my raincoat seemed appropriate for today, though I hope it stops soon.
