Tiny Tuesday - Something Old

This map measurer isn't needed these day because it's easier to measure distances on a computer

The map is a first series 1:50000.  It is dated 1974.   

What really shows its age is the lack of a bypass round Stratford.   There still isn't a proper bypass which is badly needed

I also see that the railway is extended south where it is now a cycle path.

Further north (not visible in this shot) the M40 doesn't exist
