No fireworks but plenty of bright lights

Bonfire night was eerily quiet. A few, almost apologetic fireworks, rather desultory really. All the action was last weekend and probably next weekend too. Doesn’t seem right.

I was looking for a rocket exploding in the skies to celebrate my 2500 blip however you’ll have to make do with bright lights and wet pavements outside Victoria Station as I’m on my way to a Birmingham for a meeting tomorrow.

Who would have thought that I would have reached that figure when I started on 1st January 2013? Blipping is very addictive and could consume 25 of every 24 hours in a day!

It’s been a wonderful journey too. We almost lost it a few years ago but now seem to be secure and going from strength to strength as a supportive, positive, engaging and inclusive community sharing common ambitions, some of who we’ve got to know in reality and well as virtually.

Thank you all for continuing to visit my blips and commenting on my journal. You’re all stars! I dare say I share the day with many other blippers but congratulations to Nicosannie and MerrilHope who also made 2500 today.

Blip is proving invaluable as an aid memoire when trying to think back what we did when and also a great source of advice and information from fellow blippers about any topic under the sun.
