The vets in Donegal only offered an FHO operation, Michael didn't believe it is best for her, nor my physiotherapist cousin, Sue who has had experience with this type of injury. My brother knows a very experienced specialist orthopedic vet, who worked for years in Dublin Vet School & now has a practice in Omagh, he comes very highly recommended. After talking to him he suggested a closed reduction, with an implant to keep it in, so Michael brought her to Omagh, she was pleased to see him & me & she was remarkably calm (the drugs no doubt) She is scheduled for the operation on Wednesday, as the implant had to be ordered on Monday afternoon, delivered on Tuesday. 
All, I can do is hope she is in the right hands 
She had a comfortable Monday night & Tuesday. So fingers crossed for her. I do feel terrible that this happened but I'm hopeful she will recover with lots of TLC.
I will put an update on when she gets through the operation on Thursday, I just need to take little blip break at the moment.
