Autumn Leaves

I'm fairly obsessed with the changing leaves right now...especially with the sunny weather. It's unusual for us to have such a lovely, sunny early November. Normally it would be raining....and it looks like the rain will return this weekend. So I'll be out capturing all of the glowing leaves that I can until then!

This is a Vine Maple - Acer circinatum which is native to the Pacific NW. Characteristically it turns a stunning orange red in the fall. Gorgeous, isn't it?
