Karangahake Gorge

We walked the Windows Walk in the Karangahake Gorge near Waihi. The area was a Gold Mine in the 1870's. The walk leads through the old gold mining tunnels and follows the bush tramway. Its a beautiful walk  wandering above the river through  native bush.
