Jewels in the Attic

Up in the attic today and took some pictures of the amazing cobwebs that have built up in certain spots near the attic window. I never like to clear them away as they are doing no harm up there.

The original shots were nice, but as I've had the camera for about a week now I thought it was time to have a play around with the basic settings after uploading the pictures to the pc.

It's astonishing what new things can be seen in a picture when you start to change things around. I particularly like the little bright objects that have been brought to prominence by the changes and sparkle with colour in this cobweb. I thought they looked like little jewels caught in the web, hence the title.
