Raffles Place

My lens on full width could only get part of the absolute hub of business within the Central Business District of Singapore. I saw that the theme for Wide Wednesday was 'manmade', there's hardly anything not man-made in Raffles Place ;-) Another part of Raffles Place in the extra.

My sore throat and sneeziness has erupted in a full head cold, very annoying, but hopefully it will pass once we're on Bali. Today I met up with three FOM guiding friends, we had lunch at the Cricket Club and then I had the task to send my own keys back to the Netherlands by SpeedPost as son no 2 has no key of the mailbox !! In between sneezing and dripping (it is delightfully hot) I did manage to find all the details needed, but oh, the roaming costs were incredible and my telephone provider bombarded me with messages that I was spending data above my range ! I need another provider or another SIM card ! Last night’s dinner and meeting son’s Japanese girlfriend was very nice.

Remember that tomorrow it's a no theme -free for all (as long as it is abstract) for Abstract Thursday and the tag will be AT228. We are flying to Bali tomorrow afternoon, no idea when I will be able to Blip tomorrow
