The Old Forge (Tuesday 5th November 2019)
The sun broke out for a few microseconds - just enough for me to bound out with my camera to try to catch the light falling on the cotinus leaves. I didn't do very well but by the time I discovered this it had gone dull again...

Howlin' Wolf - Just Like I Treat You (recorded December 1961, Chess Studios, Chicago IL)
Howlin' Wolf (vocal, harmonica), Henry Gray (piano), Hubert Sumlin (guitar), Jimmy Rogers and Willie Dixon (bass), (Sam Lay (drums)
Although I have a reasonably extensive Howlin' Wolf collection, when Cerys Matthews chose a couple of tracks to play on her Blues Show on Monday night, she chose one I didn't have. It had been on a single with the better known I Ain't Superstitious in 1962, and had even been covered by the Rolling Stones on their Blue & Lonesome album in 2016. I have taken steps to correct this omission.
