The calm before the storm

If the weather forecasts are to be believed, we are destined for three weeks of snow and looking in more detail it isn't going to be beautiful, crisp snow but slushy sleety can't make its mind up snow. To prepare for three weeks of yuck weather I headed out to the Forth Rail Bridge and got one of my best images so far of this iconic structure. For most of my time in Scotland it has been covered in scaffolding and so to finally capture it in all its naked glory is really nice. I seem to be making a habit in the last week of photographing Edinburgh buildings in the dark, maybe this could be a theme for the coming year - any other suggestions?
