Two for the price of one

Last night's judging went really well and I did better than the last competition by three points, with a 16, 17 and another 19.  It was interesting that some beautiful studio portraits weren't given top marks, perhaps for that very reason.  The judge definitely preferred more spontaneous shots, and I'm more than happy with my results.

This afternoon I've managed to plant daffodil bulbs in the border at the bottom of the garden, which I hope the squirrels don't dig up, although I don't think they are to their taste.

I also managed a brisk walk around the block and noticed there was a buzzard sitting in the bush next to the oak tree.  I then spotted another one towards the top of the oak.  Not a very exciting picture, but that's it folks.
