Holne Bridge
It's a race against time to get around to some of my favourite locations while the leaves are still on the trees.
Luckily I find myself with quite a lot of spare time this week so, for a change, I can indulge in some 'me time' :-D
Noting that Bob's challenge is titled 'manmade' I'd planned a shot of one of the Grade ll listed bridges over the River Dart.
This one, Holne Bridge, was rebuilt in 1413 from local granite, at the same time as the building of New Bridge just a mile or so up stream. Both bridges are very narrow and it's quite common for vehicles to get stuck, most notably The Beatles while filming The Magical Mystery Tour in 1967.
