Dirty dog

An early start to get to Foxlake Adventures for the first of the winter trail series runs. Even though we were there early that wanted us to park in the field at the top which is a good 10 minute walk from the start area, normally this is the last bit to be filled up. There was a parking space just up the track, so I decided to be cheeky and park there. Saw quite a few of the Cani sport lot there as well. Kilda had a great race out front for most of it. Only a bit of rain but it was very muddy on most of the course. Collected the beer stuff OK but when I got home discovered I’d not ordered everything I wanted. Managed to get back without finding out the rugby score. After give both of us a bath I started to watch it while bottling the beer. Not a great game and England never recovered from losing a prop early on. Shame, but the better team did win. Sorted out the fruit for the Christmas cake for tomorrow before heading out to meet IB for a few drinks. Kilda was a hit in the pub, especially as she was a ‘Chinese Water Trolling Spaniel’ for the night. Left in time to meet J at the station before having a late night catching up on Strictly.
