Kingpin

Or the giant happy pin.
I was there to claim a geocache find. This is the history according to the geocache description...

The seven-metre high stainless steel sculpture in the form of a giant nappy pin, known as a 'Monument to Maternity' provides a striking focal point in the impressive landscaped Rottonrow Gardens gardens.

The sculpture, designed by Scottish artist George Wyllie marks the site where Glasgow's maternity hospital 'Rottenrow' once stood. The word 'Mhtpothta' is displayed on a plaque at the foot of the sculpture, which translates from ... to 'Maternity' or 'Motherhood' in English.

I met a friend for lunch and then bumped into her again in Queen Street Station so we went off to do a bit of geocaching together;  well she gave me clues to some she’d found previously.
